Our sole focus in life is to abide/remain in Jesus. Jesus said, “I am the vine you are the branches…apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). Life then is not about our works and efforts but Jesus’ life flowing through us. To understand abiding is to live in grace: to allow Jesus to handle our salvation (Ephesians 2.8,9) and also handle our sanctification (Hebrews 13.20,21). My prayer is that this blog will encourage you to live in abiding grace.

Prayer of Worshipful Acknowledgment
to you be praise and glory for ever.
In the darkness of our sin,
your light breaks forth like the dawn
and your healing springs up for deliverance.
As we rejoice in the gift of your saving help,
sustain us with your bountiful Spirit
and open our lips to sing your praise.
Blessed be God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Blessed be God for ever.

Worth Memorizing
Psalm 43.3,4 (NLT) "Send out your light and your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live. There I will go to the altar of God, to God—the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God!"

A Pretty Good Prayer Spot...
...to consider: The Call of and Professing Wisdom
"The Word of the Lord does not return void" Isaiah 55...
• Invitation for real satisfaction
• Promise of living in the ways of God
• Illustration of repentance: nature manifests and praises God
Psalm 34.8,9
"Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing."
• Know the fear of the Lord
• Do the will of the Lord
• Be in the faithfulness of the Lord
